Floating Banana
For
my final piece I wanted to include floating tea cups in order to achieve a
paranormal scene took a picture of a cut up banana, then force a thin metal
wire though all the pieces. I took the
same picture without the banana, and then used the rubber to tool to rub out
the top layer which contained the banana.
I
was pleased with this effect because I photographed everything in the same scene
with the same lighting it made the banana appear more realist than if I had
photographed them in different places.
In this shoot I wanted to experiment with floating objects in order to get an idea of how I am going to edit my images. The way I experimented with was photographing the same scene one with the banana and one without. I then rubbed the wire away as I layered the two picture together and a result I achieved the floating banana.
